Helen Vasilas Gretes, 82, died Feb. 20, 1996, in Norfolk.
She was a native of New York and the widow of Clarence John Gretes. She was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral and the Hellenic Womans Club.
She is survived by her sister, Anastasia Baldwin of Reisterstown, Md., and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday by Father Constantine Rogakos in Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. A prayer service will be held today at 7 p.m. in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, where the family will remain to greet friends until 9 p.m.
