Claudius R. "Whit" Whitfield, 83, of the 600 block of Burleigh Ave., died Feb. 22, 1996, in Norfolk.
Mr. Whitfield was a native of Sedley, Va., and had retired from Ames & Webb Inc. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Norfolk.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy B. Whitfield, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn by the Rev. Roy White. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk Chapel, are handling the arrangements.
