Charles O. Deane, 70, of the 2300 block of Richmond Ave., died Feb. 23, 1996.
Mr. Deane was born in Portsmouth and was retired from the Norfolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority. He was a member of St. James Episcopal Church, life member of the DAV, Sahib Club, Eureka Club and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Marian H. Deane; a daughter, Jill H. Jenkins; a sister, Shirley D. Thompson; two grandchildren; a nephew, Shelby Thompson; and several cousins.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. James Episcopal Church by Father Jesse London. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge. The family will be at the residence. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
