Hubert C. Parker, 81, of the 700 block of Sycamore St., died Feb. 22, 1996.
Mr. Parker was a native of Murfreesboro, N.C.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Rosa Lee Parker; three daughters of immediate family, Ms. Paula Parker, Mrs. Michelle Dunn, Mrs. Cynthia Moore; five sons of immediate family, David Parker, Kevin Parker, Nathan Parker, Vaughn Parker Sr., Melvin Parker Sr. Other survivors include Calpurnia Butler, Elma Parker, Thelma Parker, Dorothy Parline, Hubert Parker Jr.; seven brothers and sisters, Vivian Hargrove, Gracie M. Britt, Dorothy L. Butler, Elnora Stevenson, Nathan C. Parker, Delaware Parker, Warner L. Parker; two sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in New Rising Sun Baptist Church by the Rev. Zack Pippins. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. A wake will be at 7 p.m. today at P.G. Thomasson Funeral Services, Inc. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
