A 57-year-old Virginia Beach man, who was seriously injured in a single-car accident Feb. 16, died Saturday of his injuries, police spokesman Lou Thurston said.
Don J. Patterson of the 1400 block of Hiteshaw Place was injured when the 1987 Chevrolet pickup he was driving rolled over about 2:50 p.m. in the 2000 block of Virginia Beach Blvd. during the snow and sleet storm.
Patterson was taken to Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Police are still investigating the accident and are asking anyone with information to call Officer Scott Roughton of the Fatal Accident Crash Team at 427-4606.
