SAMUEL J. GARY

Samuel J. Gary, 20, of the 1500 block of Ekstine Drive, died Feb. 24.

He was a native of Portsmouth and a member of New Hope Church of Christ Holiness.

He was predeceased by his mother, Carolee Gary; his father, Jerome Gary and his maternal grandmother, Matline Moore.

He is survived by two special sisters, Antionette Coles of Portsmouth and Renee Copters of Neptune, N.J.; two brothers, Jerome Gary and Albert Gary, both of Portsmouth; a special brother, Phillip Coles of San Antonio, Texas; his maternal grandfather, Bishop Albert Moore; his paternal grandparents, Samuel and Rosezelle Gary, both of Portsmouth; and his surrogate parents, Phillip Coles and Stella Coles, both of Portsmouth.

A funeral will held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at New Hope Church of Christ Holiness with Dr. Martin Perry officiating. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. The family will assemble at the residence for the procession to the church. Fisher Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
