IOLA G. MCKINNEY

Iola Gibbs McKinney, 96, of the 900 block of South Lake Circle, died Friday, March 1, 1996, in a Chesapeake Nursing Center.

Mrs. McKinney was born in Englehard, N.C., and was the daughter of the late Syle B. and Louise Midgett Gibbs. She was the widow of Robert Darrell McKinney and was a member of Great Bridge Church of Christ, Chesapeake.

Survivors include her two daughters, Shirley Decker of Norfolk and Delma Smith of Chesapeake; two sons, Horace McKinney of Powells Point, N.C., and Bobby McKinney of California; two sisters, Rosa Toler of Wanchese, N.C., and Mollie Gibbs of Edenton, N.C.; brother, John Gibbs of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday, in the chapel of Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Memorial donations may be made to the Great Bridge Church of Christ. Burial will be private in the Englehard Cemetery in North Carolina.
