Helen W. McGlone, 80, of the 100 block of Grand St., died Feb. 26, 1996 in Maryview Hospital.
She was born in Murfreesboro, N.C. and was the widow of Jesse T. McGlone. She was a housewife and a member of Noble Street Baptist Church where she was on the usher board. In addition, she was a member of Ever Ready Chapter (NU)154 Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by a daughter, Shirley M. Watson of Hampton; and a son, Edward T. McGlone of Portsmouth.
A funeral will be on Monday at 1 p.m. at Noble Street Baptist Church, the Rev. Ronnie Northam Sr. presiding. Burial will be in Olive Branch Church Cemetery. The family will assemble at the Rogers Funeral Home at 12:15 Monday.
