Christopher Sean Jones, 4, of the 1200 block of Barbour Drive, died Feb. 29, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Christopher was born in Portsmouth and attended Cradock United Methodist Preschool.
Survivors include his mother, Venita T. Jones; his father, Albert Jones; a sister, Cassandra M. Jones; and maternal grandparents, Karen and Thomas Bazemore, all of Portsmouth; paternal grandparents, Clarence and Robbie Silas of Illinois; maternal great-grandmother, Annie E. England of Portsmouth; great-god-parents, Eugene and Catherine Blackmon of Portsmouth; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Mount Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev. William S. Hampton, assisted by the Rev. C.A. Lillard. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Viewing will begin at 2 p.m. today in Corprew Funeral Home, where the family will be from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today. The body will be taken to the church at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
