Lucille Shipp Dale, 77, of the 1000 block of Sharon Drive, died March 1, 1996, in Kernersville, N.C.
Mrs. Dale was born in Virginia Beach and was the widow of Nat Donald Dale. She was a member of Great Bridge Baptist Church and was a graduate of Oceana High School.
Survivors include two sons, Donald F. Shelton Jr. of Greenville, Tenn., and Robert E. Shelton of Kernersville, N.C.; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one stepdaughter, Carsie Barton; and two stepsons, Clinton Dale and Creston Dale.
A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel. Burial will be in London Bridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
