25th YEAR: Holmes Ltd, a ladies' fashion store located in the Suffolk Shopping Center, recently celebrated 25 years in business.
Originally, Holmes Ltd. was the ready-to-wear division of Russell & Holmes Shoes, which was founded in 1946 on West Washington Street and later relocated on North Main Street.
``Personalized service is our strong point,'' said Lynnette Holmes Park, owner. ``We listen to our customers and strive to introduce new and different clothing and accessories.''
Holmes Ltd. recently added Bovannah cream, which Park says can do more for dry, irritated skin than any other body moisturizer on the market today. A highly concentrated cream, the original formula was used on the udders of dairy cows to protect them from both extreme heat and cold.
