Leonard Perkins, 74, beloved husband and father, died March 11, 1996, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mr. Perkins, a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, was retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of service. He was an Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Marie Perkins; a daughter, Nancy Tenney of Norfolk; three sons, Billy Perkins and Jack Perkins, both of Virginia Beach, and Lenny Perkins of Ivor; six grandchildren, Sharon Fadness, Linda Wade, Jack Perkins Jr., Cameron Tenney, James Perkins, and Jason Perkins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Bruce Carper. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Lung Association, Norfolk chapters. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge.
