Roger Owen Corprew Sr., of the 2600 block of Harvard Drive, died March 10, 1996, at Lake Taylor Hospital, Norfolk.
Mr. Corprew, a truck driver, worked for Great Coastal Express, Richmond, for five years. He was a native of Norfolk County, Va., and the widower of Mary R. Corprew. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Campostella, Norfolk, where he was a member of the Male Chorus, and president of the Men's Layman League.
Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda E. Corprew of Chesapeake; two sons, Roger O. Corprew Jr. of Chesapeake, Tracey Land of Virginia Beach; two brothers, Roderick O. Corprew Jr. of Chesapeake, and Robert A. Corprew of Auburn, Wash.; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at First Baptist Church, Campostella, by the Rev. Harold Cason. Burial in Colonial Grove Memorial Park, Virginia Beach. Fitchett Funeral Home is in charge.
