The state Fisheries Moratorium Steering Committee will meet at 9 a.m. today in the Nags Head Fire Station.
Committee members will hear public comments on proposed changes to North Carolina's fishing rules, regulations, licenses, allowable gear and other proposals to overhaul the state's commercial and recreational fishing industries. Committee members also will discuss their own proposals and revise recommendations. The public is invited to attend.
