Janice E. Williams, 57, died March 11, 1996, at DePaul Hospital. She was born in East Springfield, Pa., January 31, 1939; the daughter of Anson and Irene Galmar Thornton, she lived in Conneaut, Ohio most of her life.
She was married in Jefferson and was a member of Federated Church of West Springfield, Pa. She retired from Premix in 1994.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Allen Williams Sr.; a daughter, Tina Lynn Williams; and a brother, Billy Thornton. She is survived by a son, Richard Allen Williams Jr. of Norfolk; two daughters, Joyce A. Rodriquez and Theresa M. Williams, both of Norfolk; a brother, Anson Thornton Jr., of Albion, Pa.; two sisters, Perline Carr of East Springfield, Jeanette Bear of Springsboro, Pa.; two grandchildren, Gregory and Zachary.
A funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Burton Funeral Home, North Kingsville, Ohio, the Rev. Ed Huntley, of the Federated Church of West Springfield will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens. Lunch will be served at Federated Church, West Springfield following the service. Visitation will be today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. Burton Funeral Home in North Kingsville is handling the arrangements.
