Ms. Cheryl Renne Barnard, 37, of 1211 Stacie Drive, Mount Herman Village Community, died in Albemarle Hospital.
She was formerly of Carrollton, Md., and worked as a pharmacy technician with Prince Georges Pharmacy in Cheverly, Md. She was a member of Weeping Mary Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church, Currituck, N.C., and a former member of Butler Memorial United Methodist Church, Bronx, N.Y.
She is survived by her parents, Lindsey G. and Grizzell Barnard, both of the home; sister, Tonia Barnard of Chesapeake; and maternal grandfather, William E. Taylor of Sligo, N.C.
A funeral will be at Weeping Mary Church of Christ Disciples of Christ Church at 2 p.m. Sunday by Elder Marcus Etheridge. Burial will be in The Barnard Family Cemetery. Viewing will be at Stallings Funeral Home, Elizabeth City, today from 4 to 8 p.m., and the family will be at the home of the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lindsey G. Barnard, 1211 Stacie Drive, Elizabeth City.
