Margret Reissig, a former resident of Virginia Beach until 1949, died Tuesday, March 12, 1996, in Seattle.
Mrs. Reissig was born April 5, 1924, in Norfolk as the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred F. Montrose Jr.
Survivors include her husband, Frances Reissig, a retired U.S. Marine Corps officer, whom she met in Virginia Beach; two sons and a daughter; a niece; several grandchildren, all of Seattle; a nephew, Alfred F. Montrose III of California, Md. Survivors in Virginia Beach include lifelong friend Elizabeth ``Betty'' Sidel and her husband, Donald Sidel; great-nephew Alfred F. Montrose IV; and siblings.
Memorial services will be held today at 10 am. at Yarington Funeral Home, Seattle. Please send no flowers, instead donate to a charity in memory of Margret Reissig Montrose. Mr. Reissig's address is 1020 SW 119 St., Seattle, Wa. 98146.
