COLLECTIONS OF MORE than 25 antique dealers from several states will be displayed in booths finished like rooms for the Spring Antiques Show & Sale next weekend.
The event, at Hunt-Mapp Middle School gym in Portsmouth, is sponsored by the Portsmouth Service League to benefit Eastern Virginia Medical School's Geriatric Outreach Program in Portsmouth.
A preview party will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday. The $15 admission includes a silent auction and the weekend events.
The show, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. next Sunday, costs $5. Lunches will be sold with homemade desserts made by league members.
Free seminars will be held a half-hour before the show. by CNB
