Joseph Raymond Pryzmenski, 46, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 14, 1996.
He is survived by his wife, Lucinda Lee Pryzmenski; and daughter, Laura Marie Pryzmenski of Chesapeake; his mother, Mary Pryzmenski, and his brother, Robert Pryzmenski and family from the Pittsburgh, Pa., vicinity; his wife's parents, Dr. and Mrs. J. Rodman Williams of Virginia Beach; and her brothers, John and David Williams. Joseph Pryzmenski was a veteran of the Vietnam War in 1968-1971 who trained with the Green Berets and served as Medical Specialist with the 173rd Airborne Brigade. He graduated with honors from the University of California Irvine and received a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies from Regent University. He was ordained to the Christian ministry at Beth Messiah Synagogue in Virginia Beach and served as associate pastor of that congregation after his graduation from Regent.
His funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Hollomon-Brown, Great Bridge Chapel, 524 Cedar Road, Chesapeake, with burial following the service at Princess Anne Memorial Park on Great Neck Road in Virginia Beach. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
