Flozell ``Flossie'' H. McNeal, of the 1100 block of Holt St., died March 13, 1996, at her residence.
She was a native of Montgomery County, Ala., and a member of St. Mark United Church of Christ, Norfolk. She was a former head dietician for Norfolk Public Schools.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Williams of Norfolk, Verline McNeal of Virginia Beach; six grandchildren; a very special and dear friend, Harvey L. Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by a son, Rozell McNeal; and her parents, Lean Youngblood Downs and George Downs.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Thomas Hart in St. Mark United Church Of Christ, Norfolk. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Monday. The body will be placed in the church at 11 a.m. Tuesday. The family will assemble at 7007 Apt. D. Sewalls Point Road, Norfolk, at noon for the procession and will receive friends there. Carlos A. Howard Funeral Home is in charge.
