Jesse L. ``Billy'' Holloway Sr., of the 800 block of Johnston Rd., died March 15, 1996 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
He was born in Norfolk to the late John L. Holloway and the late Katherine Holloway King. He was a self-employed roofer and retired after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Geraldine White Holloway; two daughters, Cheryl Holloway Gerald, Janice Boyd, both of Norfolk; a step-daughter, Jacqueline Boyd of Norfolk; a son, Reginal Holloway of Hampton; a daughter-in-law, Patricia Holloway of Hampton; two sons-in-law, Jimmie Gerald, Darnell Boyd, both of Norfolk; eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren, an uncle, Alex Peoples of Brooklyn N.Y.; a host nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives. He was predeceased by three children, Jesse Holloway, Oliver Holloway, and Geraldine Holloway.
A graveside service will be held at noon, Tuesday in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be held Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Riddick Funeral Service. The family will assemble at the graveside at 11:45 on Tuesday.
