Mabel Blasczak, of 1628 Tether Keep, died March 18, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Blasczak was a native of Charlotte, N.C. She was a member of Virginia Beach United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Walter J. Blasczak; a daughter, Susan Sharak of Suffern, New York; sisters, Ruby Sparrow of Charlotte, N.C., and Jean Cotten of Chesapeake; and brothers, Keith C. Simpson of Chesapeake and Dewitt C. Simpson of Charlotte.
A graveside service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Rosewood Memorial Gardens in Virginia Beach by the Rev. Clark Mandigo. There will be a visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Laskin Road Chapel, is handling the arrangements.
