Elbert B. Wright Jr., 38, formerly of Chesapeake, died on Sunday, March 3, 1996, at his residence.
He was a chef at the Marriott Hotel in Stamford, Conn.
Mr. Wright is survived by his wife, Kim. R. Wright of Stamford; two sons, Ronell Jackson and Darien Jackson of New Rochelle, N.Y.; a stepdaughter, Larissa Batts of Stamford; his mother, Gloria Wright of New Rochelle; his father and stepmother, Elbert B. Wright Sr. and Lillian R. Wright of Chesapeake; two sisters; Theresa Nonirit of Stanford and Tonya Thomas of New Rochelle; two brothers, Vance Wright of New Rochelle and Terrence Wright of Chesapeake; a stepsister and her husband, Johnette P. Cutler and Marcus L. Cutler of Suffolk; and two stepbrothers, George C. Bryant III, of Suffolk and Derious L. Mazell of Richmond.
A funeral was held on Thursday, March 7, in Strait Gate Church in Mamaroneck, N.Y. Burial was in Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, N.Y.
