Irene O. Fisher of the 3100 block of Nicholson Court, died March 21, 1996.
She was born in Princess Anne County and was the widow of James Fisher. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Queen E. Davenport, and Evelyn Spence, both of Virginia Beach; a son, Melvin Fisher of Virginia Beach; a brother, Russell Owens of Virginia Beach; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, the Rev. John Haynes officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Community Funeral Home, Virginia Beach Chapel, in charge.
