Ella Mae Davenport Boone, of the 200 block of Harrison St., died on March 18, 1996, in Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond.
She was a native of Augusta, Ga., and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Franklin.
She is survived by two daughters, Jennette Francine Boone of Richmond and Audrey Lee Boone of Franklin; two sons, Roger Reginald Boone, Michael Anthony Boone Sr. of Franklin; her mother, Lucille M. Davenport; four sisters, Marion McCladdie, Georgene Washington, Bernice Riggs, all of Augusta, Ga., Patricia Fredricks of Jamaica, N.Y.; a brother, the Rev. Robert Davenport of Augusta; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be held today at 2 p.m. in First Baptist Church, the Rev. Henry Blunt officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Remains will be taken from Wm. M. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home to the church at noon.
