Sarah Batchelor, 90, of the 2400 block of Rock Creek Drive, died March 21, 1996, in a local hospital.
A native of Littleton, N.C., she was the widow of the late Henry Batchelor and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church, Littleton, N.C.
She is survived by a daughter, Maria Alston of Littleton; a sister, Betsy Alston of Littleton; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; three stepsons, D. Clinton Batchelor of Enfield, N.C., Howard Batchelor of New Haven, Conn., Linwood Batchelor of Hampton; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral will be held on Monday, March 25, 1996 at noon in Zion Hill Baptist Church, Littleton. Family and friends may join the family at the residence of her granddaughter, Sara Madison, 2408 Rock Creek Drive.
