Louis Pino, escorted by Deputy James Bell, was arraigned Monday in
Norfolk Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court. At the request of
Pino's attorney, the judge ordered a mental evaluation of the
18-year-old, charged in the January slaying of Adam Wese, 16. Wese's
body was found stuffed in a box in a closet of Pino's Little Bay
Ave. apartment Thursday, after Pino called police and reported
finding the body. Pino's lawyer, John R. Doyle III, said he
requested the evaluation because of a statement Pino made to police
when he was arrested Thursday. The statement was not divulged in
court.
