The time on planet earth, allotted to Frederick L. Britt of 2720 N. Nansemond Drive, Suffolk, has expired. His life began on Dec. 1, 1922 and ended on March 30, 1996.
Mr. Britt was a graduate of Virginia Tech and was a mechanical engineer.
He leaves behind his wife, Marjorie Tyler Britt and two daughters, Barron Britt Keeling and Melissa Lee Conroy; two grandchildren, Jessie Nicole Conroy and Tyler Carney Keeling. He is also survived by four brothers, Robert P. Britt, J. Benjamin Britt, Daniel Turner Britt, Richard W. Britt; and one sister, Nancy B. Duncan.
A memorial service will be held at Bennett's Creek Chapel of Sturtevant Funeral Home, Wednesday, April 3, at 11 a.m. by the Rev. J. Robert Bennett. The family will receive friends and family following the service at the home, 2720 N. Nansemond Drive, Suffolk.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Bennett's Creek Volunteer Rescue Squad.
