Gladys Bailey, 66, of the 200 block of Bracy St., died March 28, 1996, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital after a short illness.
A native of Franklin, she was the daughter of Lee Wyche and Josephine Williams Wyche. She was retired from the Drake Hotel, Manhattan, N.Y., after 32 years.
Survivors include a son, Clyde P. Bailey; two daughters, Annette Wyche and Benita Everett; two sisters, Daisy Wyche and Thelma Brown; a brother, Paul Wyche; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Union Christian Church by the Rev. Garrett. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. Elvin Vaughan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
