Rosalind Brandriff Raum, 81, loving mother of Joan Brooks and adored wife of John S. Raum, died March 30, 1996, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Raum was born in Merchantville, N.J., and was a lifetime resident of Drexel Hill, Pa. She was a fun loving Nanny to Holly, Stephen and Russell.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan R. Brooks of Virginia Beach; three grandchildren, Holly B. and Joseph W. Chafey of California, Stephen K. Brooks and J. Russell Brooks, both of Virginia Beach; and a great-grandchild, Kevin Chafey of California. She was preceded in death by Robert A. Chafey.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Bayside Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association. Joan and Russell will receive friends at the residence following the service.
