RALPH A. BASTIAN JR.

Ralph Antone ``Dick'' Bastian Jr., 66, of the 200 block of E. Hickory Road, died March 30, 1996, in his residence.

Mr. Bastian was born in Norfolk and was retired from civil service as a lab technician at the Public Works Center, NOB.

Survivors include his wife, Joan W. Bastian; four daughters, Karen Knight of San Antonio, Texas, Sharon Jones and Theresa Rozier, both of Moyock and Pamela Shively of Virginia Beach; two sons, Ralph Bastian of Currituck, N.C. and Michael Bastian of Chesapeake; a sister, Peggy Smith and two brothers, Robert Bastian and Richard Bastian, all of Norfolk; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be private at a later date. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Great Bridge Chapel, is handling arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CANDI House, Suite F-116, 222 W. 21st St., Norfolk, Va. 23517 or the Ronald McDonald House, 404 Colley Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23507.
