BODY FOUND AT SCHOOL

The body of a city employee was found behind an elementary school early Sunday, and police are appealing to the public for help in finding his killer.

The body of Fredrick Sipress, 55, of the 400 block of Warwick Ave., was found just before 7:30 a.m. behind Oceanair Elementary School in the 600 block of Dudley Ave., police said.

The victim's wife, concerned that he had not returned home after going out Saturday night, went looking for him and found his body not far from their home.

Police know the cause of death, but are withholding details for investigative reasons. Sipress worked for the Norfolk Water Department.
