Police have charged three boys with dog-fighting and related animal-cruelty charges.
Two 15-year-olds and a 10-year-old were charged with grand larceny, cruelty to animals, burglary and dog fighting.
Their names were withheld because they are juveniles.
The three were arrested after reports of cruelty at several locations in Portsmouth.
