Margaret Albright Thayer, 98, formerly of the 1000 block of Covington Lane, died April 2, 1996, in her residence.
Mrs. Thayer was a native of Norfolk and was employed by the Virginian Railroad and more recently the Norfolk and Western Railway. She was the widow of Charles O'Farrell Thayer. She was a member of Second Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Forest Lawn Cemetery. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk, will be handling the arrangements.
