Kathryn S. Moran, 78, died March 23, 1996, in a Punta Gorda hospital.
Mrs. Moran was born in West Virginia, and was a longtime resident of Portsmouth. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Lodge No. 898, and was active at the Beazley Senior Citizen Center in Portsmouth.
She is survived by her husband, Carl W. Moran of Punta Gorda, Fla.; her son, Carl W. ``Bill'' Moran II, and her daughter, Candy Moran Chambley, both of Portsmouth; and her granddaughter, Susan Chambley of Greensboro, N.C.
Services were held in Punta Gorda. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Cards may be sent to 200 Shore Drive, Portsmouth, 23701, for forwarding to Florida.
