Most valuable player Bernard Hopkins of Virginia Commonwealth headed the 10-player all-tournament team selected Sunday by Portsmouth Invitational Tournament officials.
Hopkins, along with Marcus Mann of Mississippi Valley State and Jeff Nordgaard of Wisconsin Green Bay, were picked from the champion Beach/Barton Ford team.
Runner-up Sales Systems placed Mark Pope of Kentucky and Art Long of Cincinnati.
Third-place K-Plus also had three on the squad - Shawn Harvey of West Virginia State, Adrian Griffin of Seton Hall and Moochie Norris of West Florida.
Chosen from fourth-place Dolsey Ltd. were Quinn Harwood of Davidson and Reggie Townsend of St. Joseph's.
The five-player all-consolation squad: WTKR's Carlos Strong of Georgia, Chris Robinson of Western Kentucky and Michael Meeks of Canisius and Lewis Chevrolet's Donta Bright of Massachusetts and Russ Millard of Iowa. WTKR won the consolation championship. by CNB
