Pearl A. ``Ma Pearl'' Wyatt, 86, of the 600 block of Mahone Ave., died April 5, 1996, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Wyatt, the widow of John Wyatt, was a retired janitress from Norfolk Public Schools. She was a native of Princess Anne County, Va., and a member of New Hope United Church of Christ, Norfolk. She was a deaconess, member of Mary Miles Usher Board, Floral Club, Pastors Aid, and Building Club. She was also a member of Order of Eastern Star (Wheaton Chapter (NU)73), Daughters of I.B.P.O.E. of W. Beaulah Temple (NU)4, Norfolk, and past daughter ruler of Virginia Council 1A.
Survivors include a daughter, Wilma Wilson of Norfolk; a daughter-in-law, Joyce A. Wilson of Norfolk; a sister, Sarah Norfleet of Norfolk; three grandchildren, Sherman J. Gallop, Vernon T. Wilson and Naomi Stewart, all of Norfolk; 15 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; three great-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary S. Cuffee and Roland Cuffee.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at New Hope United Church of Christ by the Rev. James Anderson. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be Thursday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Pretlow's Funeral Home and Friday from 10 a.m. to noon at the church. Family and friends will assemble at 601 Mahone Ave., Norfolk, Friday at 11:15 a.m. for the procession to the church. ILLUSTRATION: Personal photo
