Dale Elton Hagee, 76, of the 900 block of Stewart St., died April 11, 1996, at his residence.
Mr. Hagee, a native of Fort Scott, Kan., was retired from the U.S. Navy after 30 years of service as a boatswain's mate first class. He was also retired from the U.S. Postal Service as a carrier. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, Chesapeake. Mr. Hagee was a member of the Fleet Reserve and a veteran.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elsie Culpepper Hagee; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruby C. and Richard E. Carley Sr. of Chesapeake; a sister, Laura Shearouse of Ocala, Fla.; three grandchildren, Lori Ann Carley of Chesapeake, Harry E. and Debra Patterson of Chesapeake, and William R. and Cari Carley of Chesapeake; two step-grandchildren, Richard E. Carley Jr. and Alfred R. Carley, both of Chesapeake; and five great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Riverside Memorial Park, Norfolk, by the Rev. Willis Switzer. The family will receive friends at the residence at all times. Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
