Mamie Sue Powell, 83, died April 10, 1996.
She is survived by seven sisters, Emma Green, Virgie Mitchell, both of Ante, Va., Nannie Woodruff of Jarratt, Jessie Axselle of Montpelier, Loraine Hellums of Newport News, Anne Clarke of Wirtz, Va., and Shirley Suits of Drewryville; two brothers, Allen Powell of Drewryville and Linwood Powell of Fayetteville, N.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services wil be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Echols Funeral Home Chapel, Emporia, with interment in the Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Freeman, Va.
