Lee O. Underhill, 72, died Thursday, April 11, 1996, in Hampton General Hospital.
Mr. Underhill was born in Wendell, N.C., and was the son of the late Otho and Ruby Underhill and was the widower of Margaret Jones Underhill. He was a graduate of Virginia Tech and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. Mr. Underhill retired as credit supervisor with Furniture World of Tidewater and also had retired from real estate sales with Century 21. He was a Baptist.
Survivors include his two daughters, Deborah Underhill of Virginia Beach and Sally Brown of Hampton; his son, Stephen Lee Underhill of Chesapeake; two brothers, Lindsey Underhill and Robert Underhill, both of Wendell; and four grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, by the Rev. W. Roberts McIvor. The family will receive friends at Oman Funeral Home, Great Bridge, from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 360 Southport Circle, Virginia Beach, Va. 23452.
