Cathrose Lassiter, of the 2500 block of Middle Ave., died April 10, 1996, in a local hospital.
She was a native of Oxford, N.C., and a member of New Calvary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence Lassiter Jr.; daughter, Christine Lassiter of Norfolk; son, Bobby Lassiter of Norfolk; sister, Betty Young of Morristown, N.J.; two brothers, Moses Norwood of Durham, N.C., and Joel Norwood of Oxford, N.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. G.G. Campbell in New Calvary Baptist Church. Burial is in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the residence. The body will be taken to the church at 9:30 a.m. Graves Funeral Home is in charge. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
