Shawn F.``Blue'' Brown, 30, of the 1100 block of Hannah St., died April 8, 1996.
He worked as a pipefitter for Norshipco and was a native of Norfolk.
He is survived by two daughters, Lashawn White and Jakia Revell, both of Norfolk; son, Rashawn Revell of Norfolk; father, Lucias Simmons Sr.; seven sisters, Robin B. Hill, Michelle Fitzgerald, both of Norfolk, Toni Webb, Brenda Shephard, Linda Hunter, Janet Simmons, and Pamela Simmons, all of Gary, Ind.; four brothers, Rodney B. Brown of Hollywood, Calif., Reginald Fitzgerald of Norfolk, Lucias Simmons III and Gary Simmons, both of Gary; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth Fitzgerald.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon Tuesday by Bishop Anthony Moses in Riverside Cemetery. The family will be receiving visitors Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. Community Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, is in charge.
