Ruth R. Crawford, 70, died Thursday, April 11, 1996, in a local hospital.
She was a native of New Bern, N.C., and worked as a bookkeeper in Norfolk.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Lee Stewart of Norfolk; two grandchildren, Michael Stewart and Nicholas Stewart, both of Alexandria; and a sister, Lillie Mae Cicirelli of Miami, Fla.
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. today in Greenleaf Memorial Park, New Bern. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
