John W. Robertson, a native of Norfolk, formerly of Petersburg, died April 12, 1996, in Westminster Canterbury where he had resided for several years. .
Mr. Robertson was the husband of the late Eva Dunn Robertson and the son of the late John Moody Robertson and Ruth Jones Robertson. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Norfolk, a graduate of William and Mary, and member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a Lieutenant Colonel.
He is survived by several cousins and a step-son, Edward C. Niendorf Jr. of Fayetteville, N.C.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Forest Lawn Cemetery, by the Rev. Richard Baker. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
