Cox Communications has given a fantastic gift to the children and teachers in Norfolk. It is so exciting when local businesses are interested and dedicated in forming partnerships with our schools in order to enhance the educations of our city's children.
As stated in the article ``Pairing computers and education'' (April 5), the overall effects of Cox Communications' generous gift of $1.3 million ``will speed the city and Hampton Roads into a `smart' age. . . .''
I am grateful to Cox Communications for its being a major supporter of public education!
