BELLE W. SEABOLT

Belle Wynne Seabolt died Saturday, April 13, 1996. She was a lifelong Peninsula resident.

Mrs. Seabolt retired from U.S. Civil Service at Fort Eustis in 1973. She was a charter member of Hidenwood Presbyterian Church in Newport News. She served as a ``Gray Lady'' volunteer during World War II.

She was the widow of O. Vincent Seabolt. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Walter Carter of Virginia Beach; two grandsons, Brian and Adam Carter of Virginia Beach; a sister, Louise Hall of LaJolla, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. J. Harold McKeithen officiating.

Memorials may be made to Hidenwood Presbyterian Church, 414 Hiden Blvd., Newport News, 23606, or to Sentara Hospice Program, 8 Kroger Executive Center, Suite 201, Norfolk, 23502. Peninsula Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
