Frances ``Fran'' Irene Evans passed away April 12, 1996. She was born in Lewistown, Pa., and was a former resident of Norfolk.
Mrs. Evans was a homemaker. She did charity work for her church, the Davidsonville United Methodist Church, Davidsonville.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Richard L. Evans; five children, Raymond M. Brandi of Portsmouth, Amelia M. ``Molly'' Schultz of Chesapeake, Tina Marie Lafond of Chesapeake, David K. Evans of Annapolis, Md., and Steven B. Evans of New Orleans, La.; three grandchildren; and one sister, Marie Elizabeth Davis of Mechanicsville, Md.
A funeral was held on Monday. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, today at 1 p.m. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. John M. Taylor Funeral Home is in charge.
