Mable B. Sharpe, 81, formerly of the 500 block of Nicholson St., died April 13, 1996, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Sharpe, the widow of Van Sharpe, was a homemaker. She was a native of Rocky Mount, N.C., and a member of St. Paul C.M.E. Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Elsie Taylor of Washington, D.C.; two sons, Ulysses Taylor of Rocky Mount and Lawrence Lee of Norfolk; three sisters, Ada Newell and Dorothy Boney of Rocky Mount, and Ella Parker of New York; a sister-in-law, Geneva Boney of Battleboro, N.C.; a grandson, Trenton Sanders of Norfolk; a devoted granddaughter-in-law, Alexis Hopkins; and a great-granddaughter, Costella Little.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Riddick Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
