VIRGINIA P. WILEY

Virginia Pearce Wiley, 89, died April 17, 1996, in a Norfolk hospital.

Mrs. Wiley was a native of Richmond, Va., and a resident of Norfolk for most of her life. She was the widow of Edward Hitch Wiley. She was a member of Park Place Methodist Church in Norfolk, and a member of its Laura Fenn Bible Class. Mrs. Wiley was a member of Riverview Garden Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth W. Brigman of Norfolk and Susan W. Eskridge of Stockton, Calif.; two sisters, Julia F. Robins and Jane P. Wall, both of Richmond; five grandchildren, William A. Brigman Jr., Edward M. Brigman, Elizabeth B. Paluszek, Jennifer E. Jacobs and James E. Eskridge; and seven great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Francis Collins. The family will receive friends in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, Thursday from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charity of Galilean Home Ministries Incorporated, P.O.
