Anthony C. ``Tony'' Brown, 51, of the first block of Hopson St., died April 18, 1996, in his home.
Mr. Brown, a former porter, worked for F.W. Woolworth for 10 years. He was a native of Portsmouth and a former member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Portsmouth.
Survivors include his mother, Mable L. Holloman of Portsmouth; an uncle, Russell M. Vann of Norfolk; aunt, Mabel C. Foreman of Portsmouth; and a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday by the Rev. Ben A. Beamer Sr. at Corprew Funeral Home Chapel, Portsmouth. Burial will be in Lincoln Memorial Cemetery, Portsmouth. Viewing at the funeral home will begin at noon Sunday.
